Selling
- A redesigned till page with a cleaner top bar, a faster catalogue and a clearer cart.
- Payments now work the same way as on the web: cash, mobile money, card, split payments and a payment link you can send by SMS or email.
- Customer screen: show the cart, payment options and a QR code to the customer, or let customers build their own cart on the screen and send it to you.
- Pending payments are tracked in one place, so you can resume or cancel them.
- Receipts can be sent by SMS or email, or saved as a PDF.
- The till screen has no sidebar: one row at the top holds the business name and every till button, and scrolls sideways when the window is narrow, so products get the space.
- A bigger payment window laid out like the web: a large amount box, the keypad level with the totals, and payment methods in one row you can scroll.
- Cart lines show product photos, highlight the item you just added, and warn when an item is out of stock.
- The customer screen shows product photos and lets the customer choose how to pay: on the screen, by scanning with their phone, with their own MoMo, or by splitting the bill. When only the cashier takes payment, it lists what you accept.
- Sounds for scans, added items, payments, errors and going on or offline now play on the till and the customer screen, with no tap needed.
Signing in
- Pairing, sign-in and the locked till fill the whole window.
- The phone number starts empty when the till is locked, so each person signs in with their own number.
- Once the phone number is complete, typing goes straight to the PIN.
Products and stock
- A new Suppliers page: search, add, edit and merge suppliers.
- Supplier names typed in all small letters or all capitals show neatly, for example "coca-cola" shows as "Coca-Cola".
- Products can have options such as colour and storage. Each combination is a variant with its own price, barcode and stock.
- A new full-page product editor with options, a variant table, bulk pricing and a photo gallery. It replaces the add and edit dialog.
- Inventory shows one row per product that opens to its variants. Receive and adjust stock for a single variant.
- Barcode labels print one label per variant.
- Reports can show sales by variant.
- Catalogue import and export now run on the server, with a summary when an import finishes.
- Photos show on the till and in inventory. They are not stored offline.
Pages
- New Notifications, Approvals, Ledger, Billing and Feedback pages.
- Settings now covers your business, tax and receipts, and payment options.
- Invitations for new staff.
- The setup checklist updates itself as you finish tasks, like on the web.
Changes
- Pairing a till is no longer limited to one computer. Your plan sets how many you can pair.
- Opening a shift no longer starts with a default cash amount.
- The back office locks after inactivity. The till never locks by itself, not even when the computer sleeps or its screen locks. Use the Lock button, Ctrl+L or Cmd+L.
- Updates can now install pre-releases, and you can switch between the stable and staging channels.
Fixes
- Signing in after a database reset no longer shows old data.
